Welcome to SABA!
What all started from a 'simple' collection of beaker style cups and a joy for home bartending created SABA. If you know us then you are well aware of Aaron's endless new cocktail creations and Brigit's love of hosting. As a family we always talked about new home projects or ideas for a product. It seems only fitting the first product has really stemmed from what's at the heart of our home... a love for mixology. Yes Aaron really has scoured Ebay for more than one of these glass beaker style cups and to his surprise no avail. Naturally we did what every normal person would do. Order over a thousand cups and hope we find like minded individuals who also appreciate it.
So after a long awaited process of finding a supplier who aligned with our vision, we got started. Endless back and forth communication over sizing, material, and design. And then we wait and wait and wait some more. Yes I suppose it really does take awhile to make something from scratch (i guess we should know this ehm... three day sourdough process). The first prototype was based off of one of these Ebay cups we acquired but after some discussion we landed on what we know now as the drinking vessel.
We are so excited to share our first product and already have more ideas cooking up. Think houseware / homeware / lifestyle and of course can't forget recipes! We hope you stick around to see what we've got in store.
